I started at Dragonfly in 2013 as part of recovering from a serious back injury. I had done some yoga in the past, somewhat sporadically, and knew it could be a key part of recovery. For some time I was limited, and stayed mostly with Yin classes, which I still do and enjoy. Eventually I was able to do more physically challenging classes, and increase the frequency. I had come to believe that if a person could have a daily practice, it would produce dramatic changes.
I try now to do 4 or 5 classes per week, mostly Flow classes, with some Yin mixed in. I would say that my back is now stronger and healthier than it has been in a decade, probably two. So I’d like to thank all the great people at Dragonfly that have helped me along my path to improved health and I look forward to continuing the journey in the future!
