How did you get started at Dfly?
I live a few blocks away and a few of my coworkers recommended it! I really got into it one winter, as it was a great way to stay warm.
What was your yoga/fitness experience before Dfly?
I did a weekly yoga class in Virginia before I moved to Madison a few years ago. I had never done barre before coming to DFly, but I have done the occasional class here.
Have you experienced any changes in your total well-being since taking classes?
Yes! I can finally touch my toes. After each class, I feel so relaxed, and I have improved my strength as well. Also a weird perk – I do standup comedy and I am now more limber onstage, and it has helped me with my stage presence.
How often do you attend classes? Favorite class?
I try to go to classes a couple times a week, usually after work, though I do love Laura’s Core Flow at 4pm Sundays – the evening classes are a great way to de-stress!
