How did you get started at Dfly?
I believe I started at Dfly in 2016, feeling stressed and needing an outlet. Dfly quickly became my therapy session, where I came to relieve stress.
What was your yoga/barre experience before Dfly?
Before Dfly? Non-existent. I can’t motivate myself to work out alone, so the class workouts at Dfly are exactly what I needed to get into a more active lifestyle
What do you enjoy most from attending Dfly classes?
Just focusing on the present moment, without worrying about the past or future. Especially in the UP classes, I’m so focused on making it through those 45 minutes.
Have you experienced any changes in your total well-being since taking classes?
SO many positive changes, both physically and mentally. Before taking classes here, I never really worked out, but now I’ve expanded my fitness routine to include other activities like running, climbing, boxing, and CrossFit. It’s amazing how something I once dreaded has become such an important part of my life. It’s been a complete shift in how I approach my well-being!
How often do you attend classes? Favorite class?
Probably 3-5 classes/week. My favorites are Power and Circuit up classes, where I get to play around with heavier weights.

I used to tell myself I was ‘too busy’ or ‘too stressed’ to work out—WOW, was I wrong! Now, as a grad student, I’ve learned that nothing beats the calm and motivation of a 6 AM Dfly class. It’s the best way to wake up, clear my head, and kick-start the day. It gives me the energy to tackle whatever craziness comes my way.”
