I started yoga about 7 years ago to supplement running. My practice began with Brenda’s 75 flow class on Sundays (which I so miss). I quickly realized how complementary the practice of yoga is to running – mind and body. As the years have passed, I enjoy yoga now as my primary workout.

I never had any yoga experience prior to Dragonfly. I have been active my entire life enjoying aerobics, swimming, running, and just being outside. I remember when Dragonfly opened and knew I wanted to try yoga and incorporate it into my fitness routine. I am so thankful I did!

I love Dragonfly!! The Madison area is so lucky to have Dragonfly! There are so many great things about it. My favorite thing is the instructors that make the classes amazing. Many of the instructors are professional teachers & it is very apparent in the quality of the classes. The studios are all well maintained, clean, and provide a zen feeling. I would describe the atmosphere at Dragonfly as friendly, accepting, and nonjudgmental. I look forward to every class I attend.

There are so my positive effects attending yoga at Dragonfly has had on my well-being. I love the mind-body connection yoga gives you not only during class but in your life as well. One of my favorite things about yoga is the idea of presence in the moment. It reminds you to be in the moment & that is so important to me. Out of all the physical activities I have enjoyed throughout my life I feel like yoga has been the best at clearing the “cobwebs” out of my body and mind. I love the challenge the classes give me combining cardio with strength training.

Most weeks I attend 4 classes. My favorite classes are the fire slow flow & core flow. I love the 75 minute classes! I appreciate the variety & amount of classes offered at Dragonfly.

I am so thankful yoga at Dragonfly is such a big part of my life. I enjoy practicing on Saturday with my husband at Brenda’s 75 minute fire slow class & encourage our children to go with me/us as they are able. The instructors are the best & really make dragonfly what it is. A huge thank you to all of them & especially Brenda, Nicole, Suki, & Tiffany. Namaste!!
