How did you get started at Dfly?
I started with Dragonfly almost three years ago after moving to Madison. This was in 2021 during the pandemic, but I still needed Yoga in my life!

What was your yoga/barre experience before Dfly?
I used to practice Yoga at CorePower in Austin, Texas bi-weekly a couple years prior to Madison.

What do you enjoy most from attending Dfly classes?
I mostly enjoy the mind-body connection with Yoga practice.

Have you experienced any changes in your total well-being since taking classes?
Yes, I believe I am physically stronger through yoga practice. A lot of poses are still challenging for me.

How often do you attend classes? Favorite class?
My favorite class is on Monday with Rachel and Michael :) I go once per week.

Outside of hot yoga, I work in insurance defense at a Law Firm. Leaning into the present moment during yoga, I forget about everything else. Even if I am sweating profusely, I am engaging in deep breathing and that calms me. I also like yoga for the physical exercise, which works on my muscles and balance.
My favorite poses are pigeon, corpse pose, and crow pose.
