How did you get started at Dfly?
I moved to Madison in Spring of 2014 and was looking for a way to get moving! I heard great things about Dragonfly from co-workers and decided to give it a try and have been coming ever since (minus a few winter months of hibernation 😊).
What is/was your yoga/barreamped experience before Dfly?
I have never done any yoga or barre or really anything fitness related before coming to Dragonfly. Over the past years I’ve realized how important staying active is and my body and mind are definitely the better for it.
What do you enjoy most from attending Dfly classes?
My favorite part of coming to class at Dragonfly is knowing we have instructors that really care about their yogis’ practice and are always giving advice on how we can improve.
Have you experienced any changes in your total well-being since taking classes?
Definitely – I’ve become a lot stronger from taking Yoga Up and Barre classes. I always find I’m a lot less stressed about work and such after a good sweat session as well.
How often do you attend classes? Favorite class?
I aim to take 4-5 classes a week, mostly Barre and Yoga Up. My goal for this summer is to start taking Yoga classes again to improve my flexibility and balance. My all-time favorite class is Carrie’s Yoga Up 45 on Monday evenings!
