I got started at DFly in Fall 2017 because of another regular yogi Nicole Pierstorff. I cannot tell you how many times she asked me to go to yoga, I told her no probably close to 50 times. Eventually in early October I finally said I’d go to a class, did my free trial class, signed up for the $40 intro month and now have been a DFly member ever since and I love it.
I literally have never done yoga in my entire life before Dfly, except maybe gym class in highschool 10+ years ago. Even with no prior yoga experience I never felt intimidated walking into Dragonfly, the instructors and fellow yogi’s make everyone feel comfortable no matter if you have no yoga experience, or having been practicing yoga for years and years.
I honestly enjoy everything about attending classes at Dfly, the environment, the awesome instructors, the great work out you get, how amazing you feel afterwards and that everyone is accepted. I love that there is always such a diverse group of people in every class and that everyone is encouraged to take what they need and leave what they don’t need.
Over the past 8 months that I have been attending classes at DFly I have seen a complete 180 in my well-being both physically and mentally. I’ve been going to the gym regularly for the past several years but I never saw or felt the results that I do now, and I’ve never felt better than I do now.
I try to attend at least 4 classes a week on average, sometimes it’s more and sometimes less. My favorite class, that’s a hard one. My top three are definitely Power Up, Yoga up and Flow. The class I attend the most is probably Power Up, I love the great work out and that you can always make modifications to any exercise to increase or decrease the intensity to fit your personal needs (which goes for any class at DFly).
Dragonfly is one of the best decisions I’ve made, even though it took a lot of convincing to go to my first class I’m so glad I finally did. It has been the biggest and best impact in my life in the last several years and I will never look back. When discussing fitness/fitness classes/healthy lifestyle with anyone, I tell everyone about Dragonfly and that they need to go, and why not when your first class is completely free!
